Mathematica is available free of charge for U-M faculty and staff only on personal computers. This is referred to as a "home-use license". If you're trying to install this on a university-owned computer, please see that section below.
The single-user license allows for installation on one computer. In addition, faculty and post docs may register for and download one free home-use license with the purchase of a departmental license.Network Version: The license is keyed to the MathID number of the server, and the MathLM software is used to control the maximum number of licenses permitted.
Undergraduate engineering students may print, free of charge, up to 200 black-and-white sheets and 50 color sheets per semester. Plotter printer is available after training. Printing credits are automatically tracked by the network. Credits do not roll over from semester to semester.
In this free online workshop we discuss methods for introducing computational thinking and programming activities to middle and high school students. We also discuss specific activities that support and introduce computational thinking.
When you install Mathematica 13.1, it will prompt you to re-activate. Click "Activate through your organization (SSO)" and use your organization's login instead of the Wolfram ID (Wolfram-specific login) and activation key you have used in the past.
When you install Mathematica 13, it will prompt you to re-activate. Be sure to click "Activate through your organization (SSO)" and use your campus login instead of the Wolfram-specific login and activation key you have used in the past.
Access requests for instructors and staff may be submitted here . Upon status and position verification (by Contracts & Licening staff) an account will be created and key generated in the Wolfram portal. You will recieve an email from Wolfram with instructions on download and activation. You will also receive a reponse to your request from C&L.
Direct your students to EITS Contracts & Licensing requests here or ask them to vist our webpage at software.uga.edu for instructions. The system will verify their status and automatically issue instructions for setting up an account with Wolfram, download and software activation. Students MUST use their UGA email address or access will be denied.
